The laboratory carries out a wide range of analyzes of solid materials for purpose of his handling:

the inclusion of tested material as waste
analysis of waste in order to allow its further use (fuel, fertilizer, building materials, raw materials for production)
analysis of waste to determine its hazardous properties (including identification of asbestos, determination of PCB content in oils etc.)
analysis of waste in order to verify the possibility of its storage in landfill
analysis of waste to determine the possibility of its disposal (including testing of material modifications using a suitable solidification process)
analysis of sludges and sediments in order to verify the possibility of their storage into agricultural land
analysis of sludges from a wastewater treatment plant in order to verify a quality of technological process
analysis of technological materials in order to verify their properties
analysis of soils to verify their quality and potential uses

For these purposes the analyzes are performed according to the valid version of the current legislation:

the Decree on the conditions of depositing waste in landfills and its use on the surface of the ground and amendment
the Decree on details of waste management
the Decree on the details of the management of biodegradable waste and amending
the Decree on the conditions for using treated sludge on agricultural land
the Decree on the evaluation of hazardous properties of waste
the Decree on the use of sediment on agricultural land

It represents mainly following types of analyzes:

determination of pollutants for waste that must not be stored in landfills of the S group (inert waste)
tests of respiratory activity of biowaste
tests of pollutants content in waste used on the surface of the ground
ecotoxicological tests
determination of the hazardous substances and elements in biodegradable waste
monitoring of quality characteristics of a reclaiming compost
the efficiency checkup of sanitation in accordance with the monitoring of indicator microorganisms
verification of the contents of hazardous substances and elements (including microbiological criteria) in sludge for their use on agricultural land
determination of pollutants in the excavated sediments from water basins and riverbeds
verification of the contents of hazardous elements and substances in sediments for their use on agricultural land
verification of requirements for the land quality where a sediment should be used
